Promoting Excellence in Surgical Care

The mission of the Society is to promote excellence in surgical care and cultivate,

promote friendship and exchange of ideas within the surgical fraternity in Botswana.

I. To promote the integrity of the surgical and allied professions and to cultivate and

maintain the highest ethical standards and professional conduct

II. To advance the science and art of surgery and to promote friendship and exchange of ideas amongst surgeons of Botswana

III. To promote cooperation with bodies with similar aims and objectives within and outside Botswana.

The composition of the Society reflect fully the specialties and sub-specialties within the broad professional area of surgery and any other specialties that may be approved by the Society from time to time.
